There he was. The guy I longed for. That ebony black hair, and those pearl blue eyes. The man I met a few years back and completely fell in love with. His name was Jordan. A man that had fantasies of joining the military, to fight for our country, who loved the scenery everywhere he went. Then there was that other side of him, the one that just glued us together. The geekie one, he loved video games, everything sci-fi, and things that had to do with out there, space.
I stood before him, just watching him, hoping he could see me. It’s been a year since then. Since I was killed. It all started out with being invited to go to a haunted house. I wanted to go since I also had the love for things others didn’t find as enjoyable. That scary gore, jump scares, creepy music. All of it.

I walked inside the haunted house. Immediately, the music started playing, and I continued on. A few steps into the large dark mansion and the door was slammed behind me. I spun around, the sudden darkness that was lit by few candles brought a grin on my face. Going onward, I came upon a door, I grabbed the handle and twisted it, the door opened. Walking through, I closed the door behind me, and turned to see what this new room was. It was large and lit with candles that were placed everywhere. A large circle of them laid on the ground. A shadowy figure sat in the circle.
“Hello?” I called out to it.
It moved, turning it’s head towards me, there was glistening in the part of the face the eyes were supposed to be, but there weren’t any eyes as far as I could see. No. The eyes were stitched closed, and blood dripped from the string that held the eyelids and cheeks together.
I started laughing, thinking these were just effects from the haunted house. And I must say, they were fantastic.
The thing, which now that I look at it, looked kind of like a little girl. She opened her mouth, showing disfigured teeth that were dripping with blood. Her lips curled into a smile. Slowly she turned to face me, I could now see scars running up and down her arms.
My eyes widened with excitement.
She leaped towards me.
Then it was gone. My exhilaration vanished and was replaced with horror.
The girl had lept onto me, grabbing my shoulders, digging her nails into my shoulders. I could feel the pain burning through my body and felt hot drops of liquid slowly run down my back. I couldn’t do anything, I stared up at the small girl. I thought this was just a fun haunted house. Dear god, I was wrong. I was so very wrong. The little girl gouged into my eye sockets, making them pop. For a split second, I thought I saw the ground before my eye was snapped from its strands. And then the other. I stood blind. Unable to see. But I felt the pain. It burned throughout my entire body. I lost the feeling in my legs and I collapsed to the ground, lifting my hands to my face. Hot sticky liquid was covering it. My blood. The girl had leaped off me and I could hear her laughter now. As if I hadn’t gotten enough, I felt her grab the wrist of one of my arms and pulled me off somewhere. I didn’t know where, but it didn’t feel that far. When she dropped my arm, it went right back to my face before it was pulled back and strapped to something. I don’t know what it was, but it felt cold, almost like metal but not in the same way. Then my other arm was taken away and got the same treatment. I tried to pull on my arms, trying to get them back, but it was no use. I couldn’t see and I couldn’t predict what would happen next.
Next was worse. I heard a loud screeching noise of metal being scraped against something. I lifted my head, oh so wanting the ability to see again. What was happening? What’s going to happen? Then there it was. STAB! My breath was caught in my throat and my head was thrown back as I gasped for air. There were small amounts, not enough to help someone live longer though. But that’s not it. It never is. The cold and the burning in my chest, contrasting with each other. It wasn’t enough was it? No. The feeling was slid down to my abdomen. What I heard next was the clinging of a piece of metal hitting the ground. I thought it was it now. Nope. Not at all. I felt hands reach in, through my stomach, grabbing the skin that was just cut and ripped apart! An ear piercing scream split the air as my back was arched then fell limp. The more I wanted to cry, I couldn’t, just blood. It was everywhere. On my face, on my arms, back, chest, stomach, everywhere. It can’t be done now. Now she’s just gotten started.
She picked something up, I don’t know what it was, but now I felt empty. Something was missing. And she has it. I heard something squish and snap then gush. I gagged at the thought of what could be happening. Then there was another snapping noise. Then another. With each snapping noise, I could feel myself gasping for another breath, but nothing was coming now. I tried to breath once more, but nothing came. I squirmed and thrashed, twisted and shifted all I could, trying to breath. But then it was all falling apart.

I’m not sure what happened first, my body becoming limp, or my death. Maybe it happened all at once. All I know is that when I came back as a ghost, I had my eye sight back, and I was back at my home. I’m not sure why I didn’t appear in the place I was killed, maybe it was my spirit that brought me back home. Whatever it was, I don’t know.

Now though, I stand before the guy of my dreams. Watching him, just hoping he’ll see me. Then, a miracle happened. He looked at me. He looked right at me. But then it was torn apart right at the second. I felt someone walk through me, it felt like someone ripped my body apart and sew it back together. She walked over to him and sat right next to him, smiling, talking. Making him smile and laugh. Just as I was able to do before I died. I stood there watching them. What felt like forever, but only lasted a few seconds, I turned. After a few more, I heard it. My name. I froze. And then…
So this is another story I made. Not gonna say anything about it since I don't wanna spoil anything, but lets just say it's about a girl wondering if the guy she likes remembers him. But that's all I'm saying, so you gotta read it to figure everything out.
